Stencil cleanup

Remember last week's project using the stencil? My dirty stencil (along with everything else I used) was awaiting me when I entered my craft room this week. I keep tags nearby for just such an occasion! Of course the ink from using my Copic airbrush had dried, but as its alcohol ink, a spritz or two of rubbing alcohol was all it needed to revive. Then I soaked up the ink (and alcohol but it quickly evaporates) onto the tags. I could have as easily used tiles or scraps of paper. If I felt the image was too light I tried spritzing the stencil in another area and tried again. Here is the result:
I thought I would use a couple of them for this week's Diva challenge.  And ta da..... bookmarks!
Tangles: Tri-bee, Maryhill, Betweed & Tipple
Tangles: Tri-bee, Tipple & Shattuck

  1. What fun bookmarks! Neat idea and the Tri-bee looks great.

  2. Betsy, these are spectacular! I love how you layered the stencil image and then tangled. Such depth! Such colors!

  3. Gorgeous!! Awesome choice of colors -- and i'm partial to dragonflies. :)

  4. bsolutely gorgeous booksmark! Wonderful colours and I love the dragonflies!

  5. OMG, I loooove your tangled Tri-Bee tags, dear Betsy. In October I was so overwelmed with all those beautiful artwork of my tangle, I wasn´t able to thank you.
So, with delay: Thank you a lot for try Tri-Bee and sharing your colourful artwork. Maybe you will Show it in my next book 101 ZIAs? I will try to contact you :-) Best greetings Beate
